Keeping your choices, without advertising trackers.
Our website does not add advertising pixels or analytics cookies. It uses browser storage to provide the features you use: keeping your sofa plan while you choose a fabric, saving favourites, holding your sample basket and helping a submitted request retry safely.
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by a website. Local storage also keeps information in your browser, while session storage normally lasts for a tab’s session. The rules apply to these technologies too, not just cookies.
Security cookies
Our hosting infrastructure uses Cloudflare’s __cf_bm cookie to distinguish normal visitors from automated traffic and protect the website. Cloudflare states that it expires after 30 minutes of continuous inactivity and is generated separately for each site. It is not an Archer’s advertising or analytics cookie. What is kept and for how long?
- Your current sofa or room plan
- Model, dimensions, upholstery and finishing preferences, including any design name or notes you enter. The builder saves your progress as you use it so you can return from fabric browsing. Kept on this device until replaced, removed or cleared.
- Saved sofas, rooms and showroom shortlist
- The product references and designs you ask us to remember, including save dates and guide prices. Kept until you remove them or clear this website’s browser data.
- Fabric and leather favourites; fabric samples
- Supplier colourway references, kept until you remove or clear them. Contact and postal fields are not saved in this browser storage.
- Request and upload session references
- Temporary, opaque references and a request digest help protect uploads and avoid duplicate submissions. They use session storage, normally ending when the tab’s session ends. They do not contain the contact details themselves.
- Older preview references
- A saved design may retain a reference to an earlier preview. Clear saved choices to remove the browser reference. Removing a browser reference does not delete an enquiry or image already sent to our team.
Images, hosting and external links
Supplier fabric and leather swatches load from the supplier’s image service. That service receives the normal image request, including your network address. We suppress the referring page address for these swatches. Supplier and social links open separate websites, whose own policies apply.
Our hosting provider also processes requests to deliver and protect the website. Operational and security logs are separate from the saved choices in your browser. See our privacy information for the providers and how enquiry data is handled.
Control your saved choices
You can remove individual items from Saved sofas, your fabric favourites, leather favourites or sample basket. You can also clear the saved choices below. Download any briefs you want to keep first, and close other open Archer’s planner tabs so they do not save an older draft again.

This removes the current draft, saved sofa designs, showroom shortlist, favourites and sample basket for this website in this browser. It cannot be undone here and does not delete requests already sent to Archer’s.
Your browser’s privacy settings can block or delete cookies and other website storage. If storage is blocked, saving and returning to a design may not work. You can still browse and contact us directly.
Enquiries and marketing
When you send an enquiry, we receive the contact details and information you submit. This is separate from browser storage. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. Read our privacy policy or email sales@archersupholstery.co.uk with questions.
