Returns &
cancellations.

How cancellation and return rights differ for standard distance purchases, genuinely bespoke furniture and showroom purchases.

Updated 20 September 2026

Before ordering or requesting a change

Confirm the sales terms, delivery arrangements and any return arrangements or direct cost of returning bulky furniture before placing the order. Contact us promptly if you need to change or cancel an order; ask for written confirmation of any agreed change to its specification, price or timing.

This website prepares enquiries and does not place orders. The information below does not reduce your rights if goods are faulty, not as described or unfit for purpose.

Standard goods bought at a distance

Consumers normally have 14 days after receiving standard goods bought online, by email or by telephone to tell the seller they are cancelling. After notification, there is normally another 14 days to return the goods.

You can email us with your name, order number, the item and the date received. Any clear cancellation statement can be used; you do not have to give a reason.

You may inspect the goods as you would in a shop. Any deduction for handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and function must be lawful.

Refunds following a statutory cancellation

Where the statutory distance-sale cancellation right applies, the refund includes the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered for that order. Any deduction and any period of withholding while awaiting goods or evidence of return must be permitted by law.

Refunds must be made without undue delay and within the applicable statutory deadline. The deadline differs where the seller offers to collect the goods. Refunds use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, with no reimbursement fee.

Contact us to discuss the return route for bulky furniture and the arrangements applicable to your order.

Genuinely bespoke or personalised goods

The statutory change-of-mind cancellation right does not apply to goods made to your individual specification or clearly personalised. An item does not become exempt simply because it is manufactured after ordering or because you choose from standard options, such as a standard fabric or colour.

Confirm the status of your particular order before paying. Contact us if you wish to discuss cancellation of a bespoke order.

Showroom stock and ex-display pieces

There is no automatic change-of-mind return right for satisfactory goods bought in person. Confirm any additional return promise in the written order information.

Ex-display and clearance goods must still match their description and be of satisfactory quality, taking account of a defect clearly disclosed before purchase.

Faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods

Contact us promptly with the order number and details. Photographs or a short video may help, but a delayed report does not automatically remove your legal rights.

The appropriate remedy depends on the circumstances and may include rejection, repair, replacement, price reduction or refund. Statutory rights also determine responsibility for reasonable return costs. A change-of-mind exception for bespoke goods does not remove rights relating to faults or misdescription.
